Click on the gate or the Logic Gate Selection buttons to change the gate type. Click on the blue switches to open and close them. When a switch is closed, current will both flow through the LED to light it, and also into the gate input. The truth table row is also highlighted based on the configuration of the two switches. When a switch is off, it is represented as a 0 in the truth table. When a switch is on, it is represented as a 1 in the truth table.

There are four possible combinations of states the switches can be in - which corresponds to the four rows of the truth table: 00, 01, 10, and 11. Set the switches to each of these states, check the state of the output LED. This value should .
